Robotic Innovation and STEM Education, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that was created to provide access to STEM education and soft skill development to youth within our communities.
Our purpose is to inspire and empower the next generation of innovators and leaders by advancing STEM education through the transformative experiences of FIRST® programs. We are committed to fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, enabling young minds to tackle real-world challenges and drive positive changes in their communities and beyond. We strive to ensure that our initiatives reach outlying and rural communities, providing equal opportunities for all students to access quality STEM education and resources, regardless of their geographic location.
The acronym FIRST stands for For Inspiration and Recognition of Robtotics and Technology. This is a global non-profit organization that prepares young people for the future through a suite of inclusive, team-based robotics programs for ages 4-18 (PreK-12).
FIRST is More Than Robots®, FIRST participants are guided by a signature set of Core Values to conduct research, fundraise, design, build, and showcase their achievements.
